The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks - Seventeen-year-old Veronica 'Ronnie' Miller’s life was turned upside-down when her parents divorced and her father moved from New York City to Wilmington, North Carolina. Three years later, she remains angry and alienated from her parents, especially her father . . . until her mother decides it would be in everyone’s best interest if she spent the summer in Wilmington with him. Ronnie’s father, a former concert pianist and teacher, is living a quiet life in the beach town, immersed in creating a work of art that will become the centrepiece of a local church.

I rated this book 3/5 stars
I like the storyline but it doesn´t stand out to me. There were moments when I found this book boring, to be honest. I liked the structure of the book, with the various perspectives, made me connect more with the characters (except for Marcus ew we cancel him). STEVE DESERVED BETTERRR!!! I loved Ronnie´s character development throughout this book. I think that if I had read this book like 2 years ago, I would have loved Will but he seemed too basic for me now to be considered a fictional boyfriend, still like him a lot though. Fun fact, he was one of my first crushes when I first saw the movies. Jonah was sooooooo hilarious! He carried this book!! Loved him, he deserves everything and obviously he was one of my favourites. The plot twist did get to me and I was just not expecting it, which obviously made me sad because I didn´t want it to be true even though it was PRETTY OBVIOUS what would happen. Honestly, I need to see the movie again to compare it now).
