Five Feet Apart by Rachel Lippincott with Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis - Stella Grant likes to be in control - even though her totally out-of-control lungs have sent her in and out of the hospital most of her life. What Stella needs to control most is her distance from anyone or anything that might pass along an infection and jeopardize the possibility of a lung transplant. Six feet apart. No exceptions. The only thing Will Newman wants to be in control of is getting out of this hospital. In one week he´ll turn eighteen, and then he´ll be able to unplug himself from all these machines and actually go see the world. Will´s exactly what Stella needs to stay away from. But now six feet doesn´t feel like safety. It feels like punishment.

I rated this book 4/5 stars

I loveeee Stella and her backstory just hurt and gave me a better understanding of what survivors guilt can look like. I also love Will, especially for his sarcastic but a real softie on the inside personality!! My favourite part is probably the face time calls, I love how Stella slowly makes Will find his will to live and makes him improve. This book also makes me want to learn more about other illnesses, and see how each one affects people´s day-to-day, and it just makes me want to read my books similar to this one. This is a short book so it´s very quick and easy to read and I love that there is a double narrative because I like to see what both characters think of, not just the perspective of one character. Finally, POE DESERVED BETTERRRRR!!!!!
