What is the Black Lives Matter movement?

The Black Lives Matter movement is an international human rights movement, originating in the African American community. This movement campaigns against violence and systematic racism towards black people.

This movement was created by Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi.

What does this movement do?

This movement regularly holds protests speaking out against police killings of black people, and broader issues such as:
